All Details

I am Zamia Zenzii, the rare and regal emerald of the cycad world. My elegantly arching, glossy green leaflets form a stunning symmetrical crown, a living sculpture of prehistoric resilience and botanical sophistication for the discerning collector.

I am a rare and highly ornamental cycad species, prized by collectors for my graceful, arching foliage, compact size, and exceptional beauty as a specimen plant in tropical and subtropical gardens.

Native to a limited region in Veracruz, Mexico. Grows in tropical deciduous forests and is considered a rare species in habitat.

Water moderately during the growing season, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings. Keep almost dry in winter. Extremely sensitive to overwatering.

Prefers bright, filtered light or partial shade. Can tolerate some morning sun but should be protected from harsh afternoon sun.

Thrives in warm temperatures (20-30°C); must be protected from frost.

Plant in extremely well-drained, sandy or rocky soil with excellent drainage. Ideal for raised beds or containers.

Feed very lightly with a slow-release, balanced cycad fertilizer during the active growing season.

Botanical name: Zamia zentii (sometimes spelled 'zenzii'); Family: Zamiaceae.

Highly toxic to cats, dogs, and humans if ingested. All parts contain cycasin, a potent toxin causing liver failure.

Low; grown primarily for its rare ornamental and collector's value.

A coveted collector's plant with exquisite form; perfect for adding a dramatic, ancient aesthetic to shade gardens and sheltered patios.

Root rot is the primary threat from overwatering or poor drainage; scale insects can infest the leaves; very slow-growing and requires patience.

Extremely long-lived, slow-growing cycad. Can live for many decades, eventually forming a short trunk and reaching up to 1-1.5 meters in spread.

Everyday 8:30AM to 6:30PM
