Hello, lover of elegant foliage! I am the Money Plant Marble, your sophisticated and stunningly variegated houseplant! I am a gorgeous cultivar of the classic Money Plant, prized for my beautiful leaves that look like they've been painted with splashes of creamy white and soft green, creating a marbled effect. I'm here to add a touch of modern, artistic beauty and positive energy to your space.

I am a beautiful vine, known for my highly variegated, heart-shaped leaves. Each leaf is a unique work of art, with patterns ranging from creamy white to light green and dark green.
Like my relatives, I can be grown as a trailing plant or a climber, and I adapt well to both soil and water.
I am a bit more delicate than my all-green cousin, but just as rewarding!

I am a cultivated variety of Epipremnum aureum, which is native to French Polynesia.

Water Quality: I am sensitive to chemicals. Use filtered or distilled water to prevent brown tips.

Maintenance: Change the water every 1-2 weeks to keep it fresh and oxygenated. Rinse the roots gently if they feel slimy.

I need plenty of bright, indirect light** to maintain my spectacular marble variegation! The white parts of my leaves cannot produce chlorophyll, so I rely on the green parts to make my food. Enough light ensures I have enough green to stay healthy and white to stay beautiful.
Avoid direct sun, which can scorch my delicate, light-colored leaves. Low light will cause me to revert to mostly green.

I thrive in standard household temperatures between 18°C and 29°C.
I dislike cold drafts and sudden temperature changes. Keep me away from air conditioners and cold windows in winter.

Pot: Use a pot with excellent drainage. Terracotta is great as it helps soil dry out faster.

Soil: A very well-draining, airy potting mix is crucial. Add extra perlite or orchid bark to a standard mix to improve drainage.

Planting: When propagating, ensure the node (the bump on the stem) is in the soil or water.

Support: I look magnificent climbing a moss pole, which encourages larger leaf growth.

I am a light feeder. During the growing season (spring and summer), feed me with a balanced, liquid houseplant fertilizer diluted to half strength once a month.
Do not fertilize in autumn and winter. Over-fertilizing can damage my roots, especially the white ones.

Scientific Name: Epipremnum aureum 'Marble Queen'

Common Names: Marble Queen Pothos, Marble Queen Devil's Ivy

Plant Family: Araceae

Plant Type: Evergreen Perennial Vine

Please be cautious! Like all Money Plants, I am toxic to cats and dogs if ingested due to insoluble calcium oxalates. This can cause oral irritation and vomiting. Keep me well out of reach of your pets.

Yes, I am an excellent air purifier! I help remove common household toxins like formaldehyde, benzene, and xylene, contributing to a healthier indoor environment.

Stunning Visual Appeal: My marbled foliage is a living piece of art.

Air-Purifying: I clean the air while I beautify your room.

Symbolism: I am believed to bring good luck and purify the energy of a space.

Versatile Decor: My elegant coloring fits into any interior design style.

Reverting to Green: This is my main issue! It means I'm not getting enough light. Move me to a brighter spot.

Yellowing Leaves: Usually a sign of overwatering. Check your watering schedule and soil drainage.

Brown Tips/Edges: Can be caused by low humidity, chemical sensitivity (from tap water), or underwatering.

Slow Growth: My high variegation means I grow slower than all-green varieties. Be patient, and ensure I have enough light.

With proper care, I am a long-lived perennial vine. I can be a part of your home for many years. You can propagate my cuttings to create new plants and maintain the beautiful marbled pattern for a lifetime.
