Hey there, sacred tree admirer! I'm the Kadam, your majestic and fragrant companion who brings cultural heritage and natural grandeur to your landscape! With my large, glossy leaves and unique spherical flowers, I'm here to create a living connection to tradition while offering shade and beauty. I'm the tree that carries stories of Krishna's childhood in my very branches!

I'm a magnificent tropical tree known for my large, dark green glossy leaves and unique fragrant orange flowers that grow in solid spherical heads, creating a stunning visual and sensory experience!
Gardeners and cultural enthusiasts adore me for my religious significance, rapid growth, and the way I combine ornamental beauty with deep spiritual meaning in Indian tradition.
I'm perfect for large gardens, temple grounds, parks, and avenue planting — anywhere you want to create a sacred, shaded space with cultural resonance!

I originally come from the tropical regions of South and Southeast Asia, particularly India, where I'm deeply revered in Hindu mythology and traditional practices.

Water me regularly and deeply during my establishment period and dry seasons.
I'm quite thirsty, especially when young and during hot weather, appreciating consistent moisture.
Once established, I can handle brief dry spells but truly thrive with regular watering!

I thrive in full sun to partial shade — at least 4-6 hours of direct sunlight daily for optimal growth!
The more sun I receive, the faster I'll grow and the more abundantly I'll flower.
I can tolerate some shade but may grow slower and flower less in low light conditions.

I prefer warm, tropical temperatures between 20°C and 35°C.
I'm sensitive to frost and need protection from temperatures below 10°C.

Choose a spacious location with room for my large spreading canopy

Use rich, well-draining soil with plenty of organic matter

Plant me at the same depth I was in my nursery container

Water thoroughly immediately after planting and maintain consistent moisture

Place me where I'll receive plenty of sunlight for best growth

I make an excellent shade tree for large spaces and gathering areas!

I can be propagated from seeds or stem cuttings

Feed me with balanced organic fertilizer during the growing season.
I'm a moderate to heavy feeder — good nutrition supports my rapid growth and flowering!
Compost or well-rotted manure around my base works wonderfully for organic care.
