All Details

I am the Nolino Palm, the sleek and resilient fountain of greenery. My graceful, arching stems tipped with lush, ribbon-like leaves create an elegant, palm-like silhouette that brings effortless tropical style and air-purifying calm to any indoor space.

I am a popular, easy-care evergreen perennial, often mistaken for a palm due to my appearance, but I am actually a member of the asparagus family, valued for my tolerance of neglect and elegant form.

Native to Africa and Southern Asia; widely cultivated globally as a durable and attractive houseplant.

Water moderately, allowing the top half of the soil to dry out between waterings. Tolerates occasional drought but is sensitive to overwatering.

Thrives in bright, indirect light but is highly adaptable and can tolerate low light conditions.

Prefers average room temperatures (18-24°C); protect from temperatures below 10°C and cold drafts.

Plant in well-draining potting mix. Suitable for containers and requires repotting only when root-bound.

Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength.

Botanical name: Dracaena reflexa (commonly labeled as Pleomele reflexa or "Song of India") OR often confused with Beaucarnea recurvata (Ponytail Palm). This profile assumes the common Dracaena reflexa variegata. Family: Asparagaceae.

Toxic to cats and dogs if ingested, causing vomiting, drooling, and loss of appetite.

High; recognized for removing indoor air pollutants such as formaldehyde, benzene, and trichloroethylene.

Adds architectural height and tropical flair with minimal care; excellent for offices and homes; effective air purifier.

Leaf tip browning from fluoride in water, over-fertilization, or low humidity; scale and mealybug infestations; root rot from overwatering.

Long-lived; can thrive for many years indoors, slowly reaching 1-2 meters in height.

Everyday 8:30AM to 6:30PM
